Welcome to

I share with you the agony of your grief, The anguish of your heart echos in my own.
I know I cannot enter all you feel Nor bear with you the burden of your pain;
I can but offer what my heart does give:
The strength of caring,
The warmth of one who seeks to understand
The silent storm-swept barrenness of so great a loss,
This do I in quiet ways, That on your lonely path You may not walk alone.

“We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.”

The power of Dragonfly lies in its ability to see around things by looking from different angles. Using its ability to transform colors and lights by reflecting and refracting them, Dragonfly shows us that life, like light, can bend, shift, and adapt in various ways, making life's appearance never be what it appears to be. Dragonfly's magic shows us to see through life's illusions and find our true vision. It calls us to transform within our lives and reminds us to feel deeply so we will have the compassion necessary to help ourselves and others.

Have you been seeing more Dragonflies of late...approached...followed by dragonfly ..if this is the case . . you would be considered "Dragonfly People" until you clear or use this energy to your higher purpose.
Dragonflies are about illusion. They are also about wisdom and they bring messages. Dragonfly Medicine is incredibility spiritual and dragonfly medicine often brings messages from beyond (possibly someone who has passed or a straight message from God).
This message may come in the form of a "thought" that you had once you saw the dragonfly medicine.
The main thing about dragonfly medicine to remember is the "illusion." To look beyond the illusion. There may be a mask or facade that you are wearing that you need to look beyond. This is a message to learn to take care of yourself and release any restrictions that you have unconsciously put on yourself. If you restrict yourself, then you cannot fly. Go past the illusion.
Check in with your habits and see what needs to be changed. Habits are merely illusions to what is really going on.
Dragonfly Medicine is asking you to "get real" with yourself and refrain from getting caught up in useless illusion.
When Dragonfly appears be ready for change.
This is coming to know and understand who you are.
Follow Dragonfly to the place in your body where magic is still alive and drink deeply of it's power.
This power belongs to you.
Dragonfly Medicine always beckons you to seek out the parts of your habits which you need to change. Have you put on to much weight, are you suffering in relationships with others or YOURSELF? Have you tended to the changes you have wanted to make? Are you frightened by these changes. I f you feel the need to change and will except this change...call on Dragonfly to guide you through the mist of illusions to the pathway of transformation.
The meaning of a dragonfly changes with each culture. The main symbolisms of the dragonfly are renewal, positive force and the power within . Dragonfly can also be a symbol of the sense of self that comes with maturity. Also, as a creature of the wind, the dragonfly frequently represents change.  And as a dragonfly lives a short life, it knows it must live its life to the fullest with the short time it has – which is a lesson for all of us.
Dragonfly embodies a stripping away of all the beliefs that say...we cannot do this or that, achieve a goal or dream, it is to remind us that anything is possible.
Dragonfly is the knower within that sees all our true potential and ability. Dragonfly strips away the illusions that we can not...that we are not worthy or capable.
If we want change we need to affirm that we are willing and ready for the changes to occur.
As a creature of the wind, the dragonfly totem represents change. It's iridescent wings are incredibly sensitive to the slightest breeze, and so we are reminded to heed where the proverbial wind blows - lest we run into stormy weather.
Dragonflies are also creatures of the water, and any creature whose habitat is in, or around water carries symbolism relative to the subconscious, or "dreaming" mind and thoughts.
This is because in the animal world, water is symbolic of the subconscious mind ("deeper mind," "dreaming mind") and relates to the thoughts we have in relaxed/meditative/sleeping/subconscious states.
Dragonflies carry messages that with deeper thought can be realized and understood - and they ask that we pay attention to our deeper thoughts and desires.
Further symbolic insect meaning of dragonfly is  the dragonfly's mode of flight as it skitters across the top of water surfaces. This implies that our deeper thoughts are surfacing and we must be mindful of the outcome we wish to have.
The dragonfly is a reminder that when our deeper thoughts rise to the top we must pay attention - there are lessons to be learned, and we are also reminded that what we think is directly proportionate to what we "see on the surface." ...In short, our thoughts (even the deeper ones that we might not be as in-touch with as we are with our conscious thoughts) are responsible for what we see in our lives - in our physical surroundings.
The dragonfly gives us a very powerful meditation tool. Close your eyes, and focus on a thought - let it rise to the surface of your mind's ocean - see that thought float lightly up to the water's surface. Now upon the top of a smooth, calm glass-like surface - visualize that thought across that water - sliding across - smooth and calm.
This exercise is useful when we want to visualize positive outcomes in a situation. We see the thought of hope sliding happily across an ocean of peace (peaceful mind) and skirting to a perfect outcome.
Lastly it should be noted that the Dragonfly lives a short life, and it knows it must live to the fullest with what it has. This lesson is huge for each of us. When you see a dragonfly, be aware of the gifts it has to offer by keeping its animal totem meanings in mind.
I hope you have enjoyed these observations on the animal symbolism of
